Indie developers are stolen the source code ... Takes the source code from the published demo version and copy it to another game
The demonstration version of the TPS hack and slash action ENE NRA released by indie game developer Zahid Ali Jeevan has caused the source code to be stolen.
According to the official Twitter of the game, the source code included in the demonstration released the other day was deciphered by another developer and copied to a game called KANO produced by the person. The game was introduced as a fast-paced hack and slash game.
The Kano side advised in the DM that Your game is not encrypted, and you can easily read the entire source code. At first glance it looks like an advice, but the source code was actually stolen. All KANO developers' accounts have been deleted, and the original writing or videos cannot be confirmed.
This terrible incident that the contents will be stolen from the demonstration version that will be played by the expected user. According to the Kano claim, it is easy to read the source code of the game, so if that is the case, it seems that encryption will need to be more careful.
The ENE NRA set in the near future Japan will be distributed to PC (Steam) soon.
