The New World developers are currently working on removing the diverse - often serious bugs and exploits from their game. Among them some gold exploits, problems with the in-game chat, and more.
For some players, this is probably not enough for these mistakes, as the resulting damage has already been created. For example, on some servers, the economy broke together through the various Gold Exploits, which is difficult to repair.
Is a server wipe the best option to save the game?
In the forums of the title, the user Vivers brought the suggestion to reset all servers to restart all players with the same conditions. Also, it would be possible that Amazon implements a few fresh servers, so player can take a new beginning, you should want that.
The contribution was created only a few hours ago, but already has over 1,000 views and a pretty hot discussion in the comments. Some players do not consider themselves disadvantaged by the existence of gold exploits and are therefore not particularly interested in a server wipe.
In fact, there was already a kind of unwanted wipe on the server Baralku. Here, after a crash, the server jumped into the future after a crash, whereby numerous invasions took place, which no one could defend. All progress of the server with the crafting stations and the like were therefore reset, so to speak.
Of course, players were not enthusiastic about players and it is difficult to imagine that users would look very pleased about a server wipe from Amazon after hundreds of playing hours. However, a few new servers would not be too bad idea, especially as players in Europe and then still in queues.
Here, however, it would be better if a normal server transfer - with a certain maximum amount of transmitted gold - would be possible. There are probably not many players really feel like starting again completely from the beginning.
