TFT Double Up: Double mode will come to revolutionize Teamfight Tactics

The double-double is an American-based expression used in basketball to define an individual performance in a match in which a player has recorded at least ten units in two of the following five categories: points, rebounds, decisive passes , but also interceptions and courses.

Teamfight Tactics (TFT) will soon receive a mode for couples. As previously announced, the Set 6 will bring several new features to the game and, among them, the Double Up mode, the most recent TFT laboratory.

According to the details published by Riot Games, Double Up will arrive with the 11.23 update, as follows at the Gossip and Cachivachic patch, scheduled for November 17. It will be a 2v2v2v2 mode, in which the partners share the same points of life.

Within Double Up, players will have new mechanics available:

Assistance armory, with which a player can give his partner components of objects, gold and other bonuses at certain points of the game; Runes of loyalty, to give champions and their respective articles to your partner; Also, if you win against an enemy team, after a period of time, your surviving champions will go to the ally board to help in the fight.

As with the normal TFT, victory is for the last surviving couple. If the health of the team reaches zero, both members continue to play with 1 life, if someone suffers any damage after that, the team is eliminated. The mode can be tested in the PBE as of November 2.

Assistance Armory

In Phase 2-5 and phase 6-2, a person from each couple has the assistance armory, and can give their partner components of articles and gold, being the articles of arsenal in phase 6-2 the best , with complete items. The member receiving the items can return in Phase 2-6 and 6-3.

Runes of loyalty

In stage 4-2 and in the second auxiliary arsenal, a player will have the possibility of conquering a loyalty rune that, when used in a champion, sends it with all the elements of him to the couple s board. Equipment reinforcements

The last mechanics of the Laboratory makes the player who wins his duel very quickly to send his surviving champions to help his teammate. However, the champions brought by reinforcements do not harm the opponent.

Qualifying

Double Up will have the same classification system as Hyper Roll. The players will win and lose points for victories and defeats and the levels are:

Gray (0 points); Green (1,400 points); Blue (2600 points); Purple (3,400 points); Double (4200 points or more).

Set 6, Gossip and Cachivachies arrives in PBE on October 19, with the official launch scheduled for November 3, by the hand of the 11.22 update.
